Sliding Tiller For Catalina 22

Problem: The tiller for the Catalina 22 protrudes into the cockpit since it is quite long. This presents a problem when coming about with a number of people in the cockpit. The tiller on the Capri 25 would lift to make it easier to come about and switch sides. However, the fixed traveler on the Catalina 22 does not permit the tiller to be lifted enough to be out of the way.

Action: I replaced the tiller with one for a configuration that permitted the tiller to slide out of the way when needed.

Result” It worked Great!
