Sailing Canoe Lazy Jack
Category: Sailing canoe, canoe, cruiser, lazy jack
Problem: As with the topping lift addition, I wanted to keep the boom and now the sail so it didn’t fall into the canoe when the sail was lowered.
Action: I constructed a lazy jack, again adding blocks to the top of the mast for the lazy jack lines and running the lines down and have them cleated on the mast. Superseded: The routing of the lines was changed when I modified the mast configuration.
Result: It worked great!
