Canoe 4″ Outrigger Tube Ends
Category: Sailing canoe, sailboat, boat, March18
Problem: When I decided to replace the outrigger I had originally made for the canoe and use a 4 inch diameter PVC pipe instead of a 3 inch one, I needed to make new end pieces.
Action: I fashioned the end pieces making sure that the part that was inserted into the tube assured a snug fit even though I sealed the tube ends prior to attaching the wooden pieces.
Result: It worked great!
