Band Saw Miter Screw Holder
Category: Tools, shop, workshop
Problem: The small band saw that I have did not have a place for storing the miter feed bar, so it would be sitting on a workbench, hard to find.
Action: I added a screw coming out of the band saw case that allowed me to attach a miter once I had drilled a hole in the end of the miter bar. It was secured by a wing nut and I had a piece of foam around the bar so that it wouldn’t vibrate up against the side of the saw.
Result: Works great! The miter bar is always there when I need it.

How much time it took to develop: 30 min

Since it was originally done: As you can see from the picture, I also store a wheel cant adjustment allen wrench key there as well.
