Air Compressor Tool Caddy
Category: Shop, tool caddy, air compressor, workshop
Problem: When I bought the air compressor, there were several attachments such as the one for inflating a tire as well as a pressure gauge and other nozzles that could be attached, depending on the need. Since I had added casters to the legs so I could easily roll it to where needed, I wanted to keep those items with the air compressor so they would be handy whenever and wherever I needed them.
Action: I made a hook out of some coat hanger wire, duct taped it to the handle of the air compressor, got a ziplock bag, put some duct tape over one corner, and punched a hole in it so it would go over the wire hook. I then put all the miscellaneous parts inside so that they hung at the ready and were clearly visible.
Result: It worked great!
Additional Thoughts: For anyone who has a shop, I recommend an air compressor and cannot believe I went 30 years without one!
When idea was conceived: 1998
How much time it took to develop: 30 minutes
How much money it took to develop: None
Current status: Available for use.
Since it was originally done: It has been superseded because I bought a retractable air hose reel with 50 ft of hose that stays in one place. Now I store these accessories in a drawer near the hose.
