Bath Back Scrub Brush Handle Lock
Category: Bath, scrub brush, back brush, bath accessories
Problem: I was frustrated several times when the back scrub brush head, that had a handle that you would wedge into the head, came loose while I was using it and fall off. I would have to retrieve it from the floor of the shower, wedge it back, and try again.
Action: I drilled a hole through the handle and the head, when it was tightly wedged in. I then sized it for a ¼ 20 tap, I threaded the holes, ran the tap down into the base, creating the threads. I then took a small ¼ 20 thumb screw which I screwed into the hole, securing the handle, but yet being able to remove the handle should I want to.
Result: It works great! It never came out again!
Additional Thoughts: It was a skin brush, but the solution could be applied to any bath brush.
