Boat Profile Clothes Rack
Category: Household, bedroom
Problem: One of my young boys needed more places to hang his clothes.
Action: I decided, since I like boats and sailing, and so did he, to cut a profile of a boat hull out and stick pegs in it for him to hang his clothes.
Result: It works great!
Additional Thoughts: I have used this every place I have lived since.
When idea was conceived: 1978
How much time it took to develop: 2 hours
How much money it took to develop: $5.00
Current status: In use
Since it was originally done: If I made another I would purchase Shaker Pegs since the clothes would stay on more securely.
Of course any profile of a child’s interest can be cut out as a base.
Also when screwing into a wall, be sure to have the screws go into the studs.
