Clasp For Apron Tie
Category: Household, kitchen, workshop, clothing
Kitchen apron: I would have to put the apron on and then tie it and my fingers are delicate and crippled and it was so difficult to tie. Plus, I had to go through the motions of tying, and I am just so lazy!
Shop Apron: The shop apron ties in the back, which is tough to do. I extended the ties to come around the front, but I was concerned about them getting caught in machinery.
Action: I made sure the ties came around to the front, and then added plastic clasps like on a life preserver, they click in and out.
Result: With these clasps, the apron always fits just right, I don’t have to go through the effort of tying. There are no bows or extra string it he front to be caught on anything, and I can work it in the front instead of trying to do everything in the back. Of course, one end is adjustable so that more than one person can easily use the apron.
Additional Thoughts: This is particularly useful for people with limited mobility.
