Adjustable Insert For Plastic Bin
Category: Storage, office
Problem: I had a number of CDs in their cases and I wanted to use some storage that I already had. I found the storage bins that had openings on the side but when I put the CDs in they all slid down. I needed a way of keeping them upright.
Action: I created an insert that would go along the bottom of the bin and had two pins that could be moved outward and locked in place to catch on the perforations in the side that would hold the CDs in place. In addition, it required an insert for the back of the storage bin so the CDs would be at a slight angle.
Result: It worked great!
