Phone Case Attachment Point
Category: Cell phone accessory, adhesive, stick on, attach, technology
Problem: When I am riding in the car, I want the cell phone out of my pocket and easy to reach. Sometimes, however, it would inadvertently find its way off of the seat and onto the floor, so I’d have to wait until I stopped or pulled off the road to safely retrieve the phone.
Action: I decided to add a small grommet at the end of a piece of duct tape that I then secured to the back of the phone. In the car, I have a string with a clasp on the end that is secured, that I clip on the phone. Now, should it slip on the floor, I pull on the string and it comes right up.
Result: It works great!
Additional Thoughts: A tab that pulls out could be an integral part of a phone case.
