Cleaning CPAP Reservoir
Category: CPAP, Removing hard water deposits, health
Problem: My CPAP machines have a water reservoir to add moisture to the air. Over time hard water deposits formed inside and they can be removed with a solution of apple cider vinegar. However, sloshing the vinegar around doesn’t necessarily do it.
Action: I decided to add some dried beans as an agitator, which made the cleaning much quicker and more effective.
Result: It worked great!
Additional Thoughts: This technique of course could be used to clean out any vessel such as a coffee pot.
