Vacuum Air Exhaust Deflector
Category: Household, vac, cleaning, vacuum cleaner
Problem: I bought an inexpensive canister floor vacuum that exhausted the air down in the front of the vacuum, which ended up blowing stuff all around the floor.
Action: I took a piece of clear plastic, cut it to shape such that when mounted underneath the exhaust it would deflect the air upwards at about a 30 degree angle.
Result: Now things I am trying to vacuum are not blown ahead of me, making it much easier for me to more quickly clean the floor.
Current status: In use
Since it was originally done: It has not changed.
